On 21-25 August a CNCP delegation visited companies currently implementing the following projects: Makhaon Ltd. - production of decorative glass for furniture, NPO PM MKB - production of block heat units, Kollahit - production of therapeutic wound dressings, Siberian Jewelry Plant Ltd., Russian Profile Ltd. - furniture for bathrooms, Sibmetal-konstruktsiya Ltd. - production of metal corrugated roofing material, Furniture Factory Kardinal Ltd. - cabinet furniture production, Rolling Plant Alukom Ltd. - establishment of production line for aluminum composite panels.
The CNCP representatives also visited enterprises which have proposed new projects to be submitted for possible future funding by CNCP. Among these companies are: SiET Ltd. - production of flexible pre-insulated irradiation cross-linked polyethylene pipes, Alternativa plus Ltd. - expansion of off-road vehicle production, Novotex Ltd. - expansion of ventilation and air-conditioning production, TochMekh Ltd. - expansion of aluminum heating radiator production. The delegation also discussed a project proposed by Chimzavod including the production of polypropylene containers.
On the final visit day three new projects submitted by FSUE MCK to CNCP were discussed. A meeting was held between CNCP delegation members, Zheleznogorsk Administration and the management of FSUE MCK. At the meeting it was stated that 300 new jobs out of 500 planned had already been created, CNCP had invested about 80 million rubles in the economy of the city and total investments attracted to the city for CNCP projects amounted to approximately 180 million rubles.
In August, the first CNCP project including the production of heat-insulation products for the metallurgy industry implemented by Vermiculite Ltd. was successfully completed. The Kraspan project which involves the development of metal frame production for assembly of ventilated facades and NPO PM MKB project are at the final stage of implementation.
