  Memorandum of Understanding signed

A multi-million pound UK Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) programme to help former nuclear weapons workers in Russia find new jobs received a boost on November 4, 2004 with the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding between the DTI and the Russian Federal Atomic Energy Agency (RosAtom).


  The CNCP Steering Group Meeting was taken place May 18 and August 6, 2004 in London.


  Chris Bailey held meetings in Moscow the week of April 19th to discuss the development of the LINK project, which will support management education in Zheleznogorsk, Snezhinsk è Ozersk, and develop ideas for new projects in training for later this year.


  The week of April 12th a CNCP team of specialists visited Zheleznogorsk for a technology assessment. City officials presented their strategic development plan. Eighteen projects, ranging from radioactive waste management to construction materials production, were presented to CNCP team members for consideration.
