This project is to provide assistance to the firm NPO PM-MKB at Zheleznogorsk to enable it to enhance its production capability for Modular Heat Transfer Units.
The customers for these systems are industrial enterprises, domestic housing constructors, municipal authorities, and owners of individual houses or blocks of flats.

NPO PM-MKB is currently selling units at a rate of about 40 pa, and has captured about 70% of the market in Krasnoyarsk region.

The Full Proposal was approved by the Steering Group in November 2004.

A final audit of the project proved that the Beneficiary's obligations for job creation were fulfilled (71 jobs /42 for ex-nuclear workers created vs 59 /50 planned initially).

Despite the fact that, for the objective reasons, NPO PM-MKB was not able to create all the planned jobs for ex-nuclear staff, the project is considered to have been completed successfully.
