The Makhaon company manufactures and markets the following products: inter room
(indoor) doors manufactured by the technology and under licence from the company MASONITE,
the European production facilities of which are located in Ireland (Karrik on Shannon)
with numerous commercial offices in the United Kingdom.
The project involved the establishment of a production site for manufacturing of decorative/
stained glass. The objective was to reach a ?1m turnover in the first full year of sales in
approximately the same selling area as currently (eastern and western Siberia).
The following product range was planned:
- Stained glass for inter room doors and furniture fronts, using technology supplied by the British company Decorative Resins International.
- Architectural glass of various specifications.
- Triplex glass with inner coloured layer.
- Deep forming glass.
- Pictured windows made using abrasive sand and itching with chemically active components.
A final audit of the project proved that the Beneficiary's obligations were fulfilled.
(27 jobs /22 for ex-nuclear workers created vs 36 /20 planned initially).
Despite the fact that, for the objective reasons, the company was not able to create all the planned jobs, the project is considered to have been completed successfully.
