Title

Production of Package Materials and Disposable Ware on the Base of Operating Enterprise Producing Sheet Materials from Polystyrene and Polypropylene Wastes.
Objectives

- Plastform will begin producing packaging materials and disposable tableware from its sheet materials.

- Create 21 new technical jobs including 12 jobs for employees from the All Russia Scientific and Research Institute of Technical Physics (VNIITF).

- Increase Plastform's sales revenue from its new products.
Summary

Plastform currently produces sheet materials from polystyrene and polypropylene waste. The DECC grant will allow Plastform to purchase new manufacturing equipment to produce packaging and disposable plastic tableware from its sheet materials. In addition to manufacturing these new products, the DECC grant will support the company's plans to increase film and sheet materials production from 30 tons to up to 180 tons per month. The upgrades will lead to a projected increase of more than 50% in the company's sales revenue.

Cost

Total cost of the project is £422,437. The DECC is contributing of £199,866.
