Practical Outcomes of project "Manufacture of swivel joints for pipelines"The project goal was to establish mass production of joint couplings and components for pipelines and piping systems. Its implementation will ensure safe filling and discharge operations, primarily of petroleum products, liquefied gas, aggressive chemical products, by replacing flexible sleeves made from rubber or polymers with metal pipes, connected with sealed joint couplings. Therefore, the project also addresses topical environmental issues. The production facility was renovated; the metal-processing equipment was procured, installed and commissioned; and a pilot batch of joint couplings manufactured in Snezhinsk was successfully tested by customers. | |
