Background

The company produces granite products including curb stones, decorative tiles and materials, paving blocks, and granite blocks of different sizes. It has its own source of materials, considerable management experience, a modern factory, valuable equipment and a large potential market as a supplier to the construction industry. However, the company lacks some processing equipment including an Italian made bridge orthogonal machine. If this machine was purchased it would enable the company to introduce 24 hour working and allow existing polishing equipment to be fully utilised. The purpose of this project is to purchase this machine and train staff in its use, thereby enabling the company to expand its business. Since the project began, the company has experienced a series of severe internal problems which CNCP has followed closely.
