General Report on implementation of the project "Management and book-keeping training" for employees of NSC KIPT at the Kharkov RC MIM LINK for the period from May 2005 to April 2007.PROGRAMME "MANAGER - PROFESSIONAL" 1. This group completed the programme "Manager - professional" in April 2006. All the group members fulfilled the requirements of the OU according to the results of their writing tests and participation in Sunday schools. According to the exam results 11 participants entirely fulfilled the requirements of the OU. They received the Professional Certificate in Management of the UK OU. 2. Second group of participants - 10 employees of NRC "KIPT".
In the process of training the list of participants in this group changed. In the middle of September the student refused to continue her studying because she started post-graduate studying and couldn't attend both institutes. For the same reason she didn't take TMA 02 on the module "Manager and personnel", her studying of this module was accepted as successful. Instead of the student analytic specialist on research of goods market, was registered on the next two programme modules "Manager -professional" ("Finance and information management" and "Marketing and quality management"). So, 8 students out of 10 have fulfilled all requirements of the OU and been registered for the exam, which will take place on 23 April 2007. PROGRAMME "CORPORATE MANAGER"1. Group of participants - 4 employees of NRC "KIPT".
Four students from the first KIPT group which successfully completed the "Manager - professional" programme and demonstrated a high level of motivation during the training process were registered for the "Corporate manager" programme. In order the training to be considered as successful according to the requirements of the UK OU it is obligatory to:
All members of the group entirely fulfilled the requirements of the OU regarding fulfillment of writing tests and participation in Sunday School. Four students were registered for the exam, which will take place on 24 April 2007. PROGRAMME "INTERNATIONAL STANDARDS OF BOOK-KEEPING"Certificate in Book-keeping1. First group of participants - 5 employees of NRC "KIPT".
In order the training to be considered as successful according to the requirements of the IAB it is obligatory to take a writing exam assessed at not less than 50 points (C level and higher - B,A). Two participants of the group passed the exam from the first (Level A), three participants got non-passing points (C level). When retaking the qualification exam of the International Association of Book-keepers all the three students got the highest A mark, which corresponds 70 points and higher. Five participants entirely fulfilled the requirements of the IAB, they were given the Certificate in Book-keeping of IAB. 2. Second group of participants - 6 employees of NRC "KIPT".
IAB changed their exam structure to a new one which consists of two modules lasting for 2 hours and 10 minutes each. Accordingly, each module is evaluated separately. The passing points are 55% out of 100% possible, which correspond to the C level and higher B and A levels. Two passing marks mean successful passing of the exam, which is confirmed by an IAB qualification document. One passing mark and one non-passing - retake of one module. Two non-passing marks - retake of two exam modules. Four students entirely fulfilled requirements of the IAB, they got the Certificate in Book-keeping of IAB. They are eligible to be registered for the next programme level - Diploma in Accounting and Advanced Book-keeping. Two participants were registered for retaking the exam, which will take place on 5 June 2007. Level: Diploma in Accounting and Advanced Book-keeping1.
