CNCP official delegation visited KIPT (Ukraine) on 22-24 May 2007.During its stay the delegation visited the locations of the following three projects:
The delegates discussed the status of the market research and the business planning conducted for the following projects: Establishment of X-ray and gamma-irradiation detectors manufacture based on semi-conductor connections CdTe (CdZnTe) and Manufacture of multi-functional low-temperature plasma sterilizers with ultra-sound cavitation. An analysis was made to determine whether the project on Development of Commercialisation Unit of KIPT is ready for implementation. Proposals for the new projects were also reviewed, and a decision was made to submit four projects to the CNCP Steering Committee for consideration in July 2007, including:
One day of the trip was devoted to a workshop on Commercialisation of R&D. CNCP experts Mark
Allington and Christophe Trontin made presentations on intellectual capital and new product
development; practical issues of intellectual property use, and the Commercialisation of innovative
technologies.
