Energy Efficiency Workshop, Moscow, September 18-19, 2007

A workshop on effective energy use, technologies of efficient energy consumption, energy saving, energy audit and other aspects that can be classified as energy efficiency (EE), was held in Moscow on 18-19 September 2007. The event was organised by the CNCP Programme and brought together 42 participants, including representatives of enterprises and city administrations from closed Rosatom cities, nuclear centres in CIS countries, financial communities, and companies that manufacture EE products or provide EE services.

  Fourth Annual Conference on the Programme's 2005/2006 financial year, July 2006

The Fourth Annual Conference on the outcome of CNCP activities took place from 18 to 20 July 2006 in Listvyanka, Irkutsk oblast. Representatives from the UK Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) took part, as well as representatives of the Federal Atomic Energy Agency (Rosatom), Heads of administration of the closed nuclear cities, managers of large nuclear enterprises, and CNCP experts.

  CNCP Conference - Kazakhstan, Ukraine, Uzbekistan, May 23-26, 2006

The second annual conference of the UK-Russia Closed Nuclear Cities Partnership (CNCP) was held from May 23 - 26. Following negotiations that began in Britain in 2003, CNCP was established in summer 2004. The programme now includes Kazakhstan, Ukraine and Uzbekistan, and there are plans to extend it to include Armenia and Georgia. The Conference heard evidence of the intense level of cooperation that has developed during the year.

  CNCP Progress Conference For FY 2004/2005, St. Petersburg, Russia, June 23-24, 2005

On 23-24 June 2005 the Third Annual Conference on the progress of the UK-Russian Closed Nuclear Cities Partnership (CNCP) was held in St. Petersburg. The conference was attended by representatives of the UK Department of Trade and Industry, Rosatom, top management of the largest nuclear enterprises, representatives of city administrations, CNCP managers and experts, totally - 41 people.

  Oxford Study Tour Visit Report, March 23 – 30, 2003

  First Annual meeting of the UK-RF Closed Nuclear Cities Partnership Programme (CNCP), Obninsk, December 5-6, 2002

In December 2002, at the Institute for Extra Training for Nuclear Specialists in Obninsk, a meeting was held to discuss the establishment of a Closed Nuclear Cities Partnership Programme between the governments of the Russian Federation and the United Kingdom. David Vincent from the UK Department of Trade and Industry hosted the meeting, in conjunction with Vladimir Sterekhov from FAAE.
